Boat Rentals & the Sandbar

Jupiter

Rent a boat or jet ski and cruise the Intracoastal to Jupiter's famous sandbar.

A day on the water is the quintessential Jupiter experience. Rent a pontoon or center-console — or a jet ski — and cruise the Intracoastal to the Jupiter Inlet sandbar, the local gathering spot where boats raft up in shallow turquoise water on weekends. Several rental companies and boat clubs operate in the area; some require a boating license or safety course.

No boat? Many spots also rent kayaks and paddleboards for a calmer outing.

Before you go

  • Boaters born after Jan 1, 1988 need a Florida Boating Safety ID — check requirements.
  • The sandbar is busiest (and most fun) on weekends and holidays.
  • Watch the tide and weather; go early for parking at the ramps.
